Kim Designs has embraced an innovative professional design service: contactless design boards that are designed specifically for you and delivered directly to your inbox. This is a promising endeavor as we are all pretty much computer savvy now and moving ahead at warp speed to even more sophisticated technology and DIY tools . As you know...we all want it NOW! The purpose of this new AI service is to get the designs to our clients within hours, not days, giving our clients the opportunity to decorate their space themselves if they so choose. This is time-effective and cost-effective with no in-person appointments or meetings required. We are also excited to now offer virtual bookings and online consultations too!
By having design boards as a guide our clients may also tweak the DIY design themselves with their own personal touch before beautifully transforming their space. This opens the way to there being little to no chance of ending up being less than pleased with a space fully implemented by me. No one wants that, especially Kim Designs!! Meet Your Designer~Kim Miller
Hi! I I'm so glad you're here! My name is Kim, a native North Carolinian here in the United States. I have had a lifelong passion for beautiful spaces indoors, outdoors, and everywhere in between.
I received training at Ashworth University in Atlanta, Georgia completing my course in 1997 but for whatever reason, I never did anything with it until July 2024. After being asked to become the Residential Designer where I reside in N. Wilkesboro I had a "wait...what? Why haven't I BEEN doing this?!" moment, and here I am offering over 30 years of decorating and designing expericence that continues to evolve now more than ever!
When I first began decorating as a homeowner I favored the Victorian era....only I sequed into an extremely over-the-top Victorian style that outdid the Victorian era. And, truth be told, probably not in a good way either, but I digress. Thankfully, I have entered into a "less in more" Art Deco Modernity era using bold colors, metals, and abstract wall decor with my favorite wall art being Wall Decals that stick without destroying the paint job when removed. How great is that right?!
